Notary Day (Ukrainian. Notary Day has been officially celebrated in Ukraine since 2010. The decree establishing this professional holiday was signed by the president of the country on February 22, 2010.

The Ukrainian Chamber of Notaries, which consists of about 5 thousand specialists, approached the head of state with a request to introduce a professional holiday. The chamber made this decision at the end of 2007, however, due to bureaucratic delays, the initiative had to be postponed.
