Day of Diplomatic Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic (24/10)

The history of the modern diplomatic service of the Republic dates back to Soviet times. The law emphasized that the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic has the right to enter into direct relations with foreign states, enter into agreements with them and exchange diplomatic and consular representatives, have representative offices in international organizations, appoint and recall diplomatic representatives of the republic in foreign states, accept credentials and recall letters, exercise leadership in the field of external relations of the republic with foreign states. Within the framework of the Law, appropriate changes have been made to the Constitutions of the USSR and the Union Republics.

Today, Kyrgyz diplomacy is an effective instrument of state policy. Decently defending national interests, increasing the authority of the state in the international arena and providing international support.
