Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers of Ukraine (16/11)

Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers (Ukrainian. «Day of Writers of Radio, television service and language ») was established by Decree of the President of Ukraine № 667/94 of November 11, 1994 in support of the initiative of workers in the radio, television and telecommunications industries of Ukraine. It is celebrated annually on November 16th.

On November 16, every Ukrainian who turned on TV or the Internet in the morning, looked into the mailbox, listened to the news on the radio in a car or minibus — symbolically celebrates the Day of Specialists, who daily provide him with the opportunity to communicate in everyday life and space for communications in business.

Thanks to the work of workers in the communications and informatization industry of Ukraine, people receive the necessary information.

The communications industry and the field of informatization of Ukraine includes telecom operators and providers included in the State Register, as well as educational centers training specialists in the field of information technology and communications.

Industry workers consider it symbolic to celebrate their professional holiday in the fall. During this period of time, results are summed up and plans are made for the next year.
