Einheriar (11/11)

According to German-Scandinavian mythology, Einherjar — are the best warriors, fallen heroes who deserve their place of honor in Valhalla. The holiday — Einheriar Day — was associated with the veneration of comrades in arms who fell in battle and the praise of weapons.

In its modern reincarnation, this day is associated with the veneration of Odin.

Legend shows that only those soldiers who fell in battle who did not let go of their weapons at the time of death could get into Valhalla. Their souls are collected by the Valkyries and transported to the palaces of Odin or Freya, dividing all the fallen warriors among themselves.

While in Walhalla, all the Einherj are constantly training and fighting each other. After all, according to legend, on the day of Ragnarok (the day of the last and decisive battle), 800 einherjas will emerge from the 540 doors of Valhalla, which, led by Odin, will engage in battle with monsters and giants.
