Day of employees of tax authorities in Belarus (10/07)

Every year on the second Sunday of July, Belarus celebrates a professional holiday - the Day of Tax Authorities of the Republic, established by presidential decree in March 1998.

The State Tax Service in the country was established by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR No. 78 dated April 2, 1990 in the system of the Ministry of Finance of the BSSR as part of the Main State Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance of the BSSR and 185 state tax inspectorates for regions, cities, districts and districts in cities. Since 2001, this service has been the Ministry of Taxes and Dues of the Republic of Belarus (MNS). Currently, the staff of the tax authorities of the Republic is more than 6,000 people.

Training of specialists for the tax service is carried out at the Belarusian State Economic University, at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, at the economic faculties of other educational institutions of the republic. The advanced training of personnel is carried out on the basis of educational institutions at educational institutions of the republic. Among them, the leading place is occupied by the Institute of Higher Management Personnel of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Economic University, the training center for training, advanced training and retraining of personnel of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus.

For high performance in work, employees of the tax authorities on their professional holiday are awarded with the badge of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus “Isdatnik of the Tax Service”, the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties and are encouraged by the announcement of Gratitude from the Minister for Taxes and Duties.
