Trade Workers' Day in Ukraine (31/07)

Every year on the last Sunday of July, Ukrainian trade workers celebrate their professional holiday. Day of Trade Workers (Ukrainian. The Day of Trades and Craftsmen was established by Decree of the President of the country № 427/95 of June 5, 1995.

Earlier, trade workers celebrated their professional holiday together with employees of the consumer services sector and housing and communal services workers. The holiday was called — Day of Trade Workers, Consumer Services and Housing and Communal Services.

Today, congratulations are accepted by everyone whose specialties are directly related to the trade sector.

In Ukraine there are retail trade facilities (food and non-food stores and kiosks) and restaurant facilities. All trade-related economic activities are dominated by the private sector.

Also on this day, trade workers in Belarus celebrate their professional holiday, and in Russia Trade Workers Day is celebrated on the fourth Saturday of July.

Let us remind you that in addition to Trade Workers' Day, celebrated in individual countries, the world community also celebrates World Fair Trade Day (on the second Saturday of May), and March 15 is World Consumer Rights Day.
