On June 5, according to the Gregorian calendar, the month of Nur begins, which means “Light” in Arabic. On this day, the first day of the month of Nur in the nineteen-month Baha'i calendar, an important holiday is celebrated - the feast of the Nineteenth Day of the month of Nur.
Each Nineteenth Day Feast, which is named after the beginning of the month, consists of three parts. During the first part, prayers and scriptural quotations are read.
The second part is devoted to administrative matters, when all those present discuss the affairs of the community.
