Finnish flag day (25/06)

Finnish Flag Day (Suomen lipun päivä / Finnish Flag day) is celebrated on the summer solstice, the brightest time of the year. This public holiday and nationwide day off coincides with the folk holiday of Ivanov's Day and other events of the onset of the "real summer". It is celebrated on Saturday between 20 and 26 June.

The flag of Finland is one of the state symbols of the Republic of Finland, it is a white rectangular panel with a blue Scandinavian cross. There are national (civil) and state flags of Finland. The first is a rectangular panel with a blue cross. The second is rectangular and with "pigtails", where the state emblem of Finland is depicted in a square in the center of a blue cross.
