The Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers (Ukrainian “Day of Radio, Television and Telecommunications Workers”) was established by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 667/94 dated November 11, 1994 in support of the initiative of workers of radio, television and telecommunications industry of Ukraine.
It is celebrated annually on November 16th. The motto of communication and informatization workers was the words: "We are working to make Ukraine a developed information state."
On November 16, every Ukrainian who turned on the TV or the Internet in the morning, looked into the mailbox, listened to the news on the radio in a car or minibus, symbolically celebrates the Day of Specialists, who daily provide him with the opportunity to communicate in everyday life and space for communications in business.
