World Football Day (10/12)

Every year on December 10, the world is still informally, but traditionally celebrated as World Football Day. Thus, the international community pays tribute to this sport, which for many millions is not just a game, but a way of life.

Of course, in honor of the holiday, many football matches of various levels and scales are held.

The first mention of football as “playing the ball with your feet” was found by historians in Chinese sources dating back to the second millennium BC. The game was called Tsu Chu, which means "push with the foot." Playing football allowed the Chinese warriors to keep fit.
