Every year on November 2, cultural workers of Kyrgyzstan celebrate their professional holiday.
Given the importance and enduring significance of culture in the spiritual life of the people of Kyrgyzstan, and due to the fact that on November 2, 1926, for the first time in the history of the Kyrgyz folk drama, I. Tokobaev’s play “Kyigyluu Kakei” was staged, and also in order to develop culture and art, this holiday - Day of the cultural worker - was established by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 318 of July 28, 1995.
"Kyigyluu Kakei" is a dramatic work that meets the requirements of realistic art. This drama is dedicated to the topical and topical topic of that time - the inequality of women in society.
