Day of an employee of the passport and visa service of Kyrgyzstan (27/12)

Every year on December 27, employees of the Department of Passport and Visa Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan (DPVK MVD) celebrate their professional holiday.

On December 27, 1932, the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR adopted Resolution « On the establishment of a unified passport system for the USSR» and the mandatory registration of passports.

From that time on, December 27 was considered the day of the creation of the passport and visa service in the Soviet Union, and it was on this date that the Day of the Passport and Visa Service Officer of Kyrgyzstan was timed.

In 2000, the passport and visa work department of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was reorganized into the Office. On May 30, 2006, the Department of Passport and Visa Control (DPVC) was formed on the basis of the Department of Passport and Visa Work by Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic. But two years later, DPVK was transformed into the Department of Passport and Visa Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the moment, the service has 95 divisions, employing hundreds of specialists. And he considers his mission to be the development and implementation of measures to prevent and suppress illegal migration, violations of the passport, visa and border regime, countering criminals, and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. On their professional holiday, all service employees receive congratulations from management, friends and colleagues.
