Sweet Day in the USA (15/10)

Sweetest Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of October in the United States.

This tradition began in Cleveland in 1921, when Herbert Birch Kingston, a philanthropist and candy factory worker, decided to help the destitute orphans, the poor, and all those who are experiencing hard times.

Kingston gathered a small group of residents of the city, and with the help of friends, they organized the distribution of small gifts in order to somehow support the starving, those whom the government forgot about a long time ago.
