Day of the Covenant (25/11)

Day of the Covenant — a celebration of unity and continuity in the Bahá'í faith. According to this religion, God from time to time reveals His will and providence through another of His Livestock. Thus, God instructs people and gives them the laws and rules necessary at this stage of human development. This is the principle of consistent revelation.

This day is connected with Abdul-Bah — the son of the founder of the Bahai faith, whom Bahaulla appointed as the Center for His Testament. In other words, — the successor of His Case and the plenipotentiary interpreter of the Teaching.

Abdul-Bakha decided that his birthday should not be celebrated, since he falls on the Baba's Day of the ( May 23 ), which should be devoted entirely to this event.

However, at the request of believers, Abdul-Bah established the Day of the Covenant, which is dedicated to this wonderful personality.

Unlike other holidays and holy days of Bahai, this day is not a day off.
