It is held every year in June, starting Friday, in the bewitching atmosphere of the Middle Ages and the romance inherent in Cesky Krumlov, in the city center on Svornia Square.

The five-petal rose festival is dedicated to the rule of the last owners of the castle and is named after the rose, which is part of the Rozhmberk coat of arms. Guests and participants of the holiday are transported to another era. Citizens and visitors, change their clothes in luxurious costumes — knights in armor, ladies, merchants, monks ... They go about their business, walk, trade, and shop.

After the grand opening of the holiday in the central square, a colorful march around the city begins with flags, fanfare, drums and torches. At the medieval fair, everything — is sold from bread baked according to old recipes to a complete set of weapons for a knight of any age.

Here you can see live chess, a knightly tournament, demonstration shooting of musketeers, there is an opportunity to learn how to handle old weapons — all this is only part of what awaits you on these days of a beautiful holiday.
