International Kitesurfing Festival in Spain ( International Kite Festival ) – is a colorful sports festival that takes place annually in the first half of November on one of the Canary Islands. He has become especially popular in recent years. Since the sport itself is gaining momentum, and the festival itself is becoming more spectacular and massive, an active and interesting vacation gives pleasure not only to participants, but also to spectators. This event is attended by more and more guests every year, including with families.
Kitesurfing ( kitesurfing ) or kiting – is a relatively young sport, but has already gathered hundreds of thousands of fans around the world under their banners. Kite – translates as « air snake », and Surfing – « wave riding ». The essence of this sport is to glide along the waves on the board behind the large kite ( kite ), the basis is movement under the influence of traction, developed by a kite held and controlled by the athlete.
Sport is very spectacular and is becoming more popular from year to year. It is especially interesting when athletes begin to bounce a few meters above the water, performing acrobatic numbers and complex elements.
