March of Parks (official name – Days of Reserves and National Parks) – is an international large-scale nature conservation action held annually and of a public nature, uniting all caring people around the idea of supporting protected natural areas (reserves, national parks, nature reserves and natural monuments ).

The main goal of the action is to draw the attention of the authorities, mass media, commercial organizations, and simply all the inhabitants of the planet to the problems of protected natural areas (WTO), to provide them with real practical help in the preservation and development of protected areas, to instill in the younger generation a sense of pride for our natural heritage and sense of responsibility for its condition, formation of a positive attitude of the population towards living nature, in the preservation of which WHOLES play an important role.

The parks march takes place in many countries, hundreds of thousands of people in more than 200 countries participate in it every year.

The holiday itself traces its history to the USA. When, starting in 1990, national parks became the theme of Earth Day, this ecological direction gained more and more relevance and new importance every year, and by 1995 the Days of Reserves and National Parks appeared.

In general, the events of the action are very diverse and depend on the invention and capabilities of the organizers on the ground. As a rule, – is various contests, seminars, round tables, press conferences, open days, ecological landings (garbage collection, planting trees and shrubs, clearing sources ... ), thematic exhibitions and concerts, publications in the press, thematic bodies and radio broadcasts, volunteer aid actions and collection of charitable funds to support OPT. Moreover, all this is carried out in close cooperation of OPT with representatives of authorities, educational institutions, mass media and various charitable organizations.
