Bahaulli's birthday (27/10)

Bahaulli's birthday — founder of the Bahai faith — is one of the nine sacred days on the Bahai calendar.

Baha'uella was born on November 12, 1817 in Persia. His family belonged to one of the oldest landowning clans in Persia. His father was the first minister in the province of Mazendaran.

The unrest caused by the new revelation and the persecution by the clergy of the Persia led to the fact that Bahaulla was deprived of all his material privileges and spent forty years in exile. During his exile, he sent a number of messages to the rulers of different countries. These letters are documents that have no analogues in the history of religions.

The letters proclaimed the upcoming unification of mankind and the rise of a new world civilization. Kings, emperors and presidents of the 19th century called for arms reduction, the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the direction of efforts for the benefit of world peace.

Baha'uella created many books in which he laid the foundations of a new world order and covered issues relating to almost any sphere of human life — from the development of the soul to the structure of human society. Now in the archives of the World Baha'i Center in Haifa 7160 tablets revealed by Bahaulla are stored.

Some books consist of several hundred pages, others in one or two pages. The last — is often just an answer to a question from a believer or an inspiring letter to a group of believers. Bahai believe that the Scriptures of the Bahaulli are a revelation from God and continue the sequence of God-spirited books standing next to the Avesta, the Bible, and the Qur'an.

Until 2015, Bahaulli's birthday was celebrated on November 12, but in 2014 the World House of Justice decided to postpone the celebration of this sacred day on the first and second day after the eighth new moon after Navruz. Now the date of the holiday is changing from year to year.
