Gentlemen men! If the female population believes that the nearest surge of increased attention to the stronger half of humanity should be shown no earlier than on Defender of the Fatherland Day, then you have every right to remind that there is another worthy date.
With the light hand of Russian politician Mikhail Gorbachev in 2000, male «discrimination» was ended, and the world community began to celebrate World Men's Day annually on the first Saturday of November.
By the way, this initiative of the former president of the USSR was supported by the Vienna Magistrate, the UN office in Vienna and a number of other international organizations. Since then, Men's Day has traditionally been celebrated in many countries, although it has not been officially approved.
On this day, all attention is directed exclusively to representatives of the stronger half of humanity. And as gifts, men expect, first of all, female attention. Men are happy if women are ready to devote it with sincere joy.
On this day, it is appropriate to recall that International Women's Day is invariably celebrated on March 8th.
Interestingly, there is also International Men's Day, celebrated annually on November 19th. The Day was first observed on 19 November 1999 in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and subsequently found support in other Caribbean countries, Australia, North America, Asia, Europe and the United Nations. Today this holiday is celebrated in more than 60 countries around the world.
