A very unusual holiday at first glance is celebrated annually on June 18 all over the world. It does not have official status, but information about it is increasingly spreading across the Internet. It is called International Panic Day.
Having heard such an unusual name for a holiday for the first time, a person may be seriously puzzled in an attempt to understand what is celebrated on this day. It seems that panic – is a psychological state that can cause ambiguous, uncontrollable actions and actions in a person that are difficult to analyze. The consequences of these actions and actions can also be unpredictable.
The condition of a person who succumbs to panic is akin to a state of passion. Every person has heard the phrase: «Don't panic». In emergency situations, regardless of their scale, panic causes new difficulties and problems, and its consequences are sometimes no less serious than the consequences of the circumstances that caused it.
This is where the logical question is born: «And what do we celebrate on International Panic Day?». It would seem like a – paradox. But then psychologists intervened and, without rejecting the negative consequences of the panic, stated that the systematic desire to avoid it, as well as the constant desire to « to hold oneself in the hands of », is a source of stress. To this end, they recommended that at least once a year you allow yourself to fall into a state of panic about a particular reason, from the global problems of our time to personal problems. Goal: «release par» and prevent stressors from accumulating in a person’s mind.
Panic Day in the United States began to be celebrated annually on March 9, but when it became International and why it is celebrated on June 18 is not known.
Psychologists also remind you that the opportunity to relax and not contain your fears on a certain day – is, nevertheless, not just uncontrollable panic, since subconsciously a person remembers that he allows himself weakness «today» so that «tomorrow he can take himself again in hands».
Thus, International Panic Day – is a kind of psychological training that is offered to everyone who feels tired of strict self-control over their own phobias. During the conscious manifestation of weakness, a person is highly likely to be able to rethink his attitude towards his own fears and stress-forming factors, sometimes perceiving them even with humor.
